Baby-faced cutie Selena Gomez is young, but this tween superstar-turned-adult actress has been around the block a time or three. Born in Grand Prairie, Texas of mixed Italian and Mexican ancestry, Selena was raised by her mother, a working stage actress. She first appeared on screen at age 7, hanging out with the TIT-ular purple dinosaur on Barney and Friends before being recruited by the Disney Channel tween machine.
